Washington Cricket Club - 40th Anniversary Year

This match was an exciting winning draw, with Wash needing 9 runs from the final over but only managing 3.

Earlier the bowlers had done well to restrict Whittington to only 168 from 40 overs bowled.

And the batsmen did well to make a solid total - much better than the 74 all out against this opposition just 3 weeks earlier.

A 2013 rematch must be in the offing...
