Centralians reached 42 for 1 before Washington fought back with tighter bowling abd fielding and centralians only managed 42 more runs. Leg spinner Pete Demetri returned the best figures of 4 for 13. In reply, victory was secured by a partnership between Alan Moffat(27) and Aussie newcomer Shaun Carfae (23 not out).
