Wash bowled really well to restrict the Hollybush to only 146 in 35 overs. Marsh, Mitchell and Relf were all excellent with the ball to produce miserly scoring rates for the oppo.

Unbelievably however Wash were unable to capitalise and complete the win. Nick Bunney scored 26 but there were few other significant contributions. The team did suffer from only having 10 players though. Luke Mitchell and Gary Malcolm put on a defiant last wicket partnership of 32 and were beginning to look as is they might snatch the win which would have been remarkable. However it wasn't to be and the Wash came up 19 runs short.
