From the south there are two routes, from the M1 and A1
From the M1
Exit at Junction 10 (Luton South) Follow the A505 to Hitchin (signposted) When leaving Luton the A505 becomes a dual carriageway follow the road, (pass Lilley and Offley) for 3 miles. You should see a road sign "Left turn - 300 yards". Turn left there, Wibbly Wobbly Lane, at the end of the Lane cross the Barton Road, follow the sign to Pirton. At the T junction bear right on Walnut Tree Road, follow the road round to the left, the Recreation ground (behind the Old Vicarage) is signposted to the right.
Take care, should you miss Wibbly Wobbly Lane follow the dual carriageway into Hitchin and take the left off the mini roundabout, the Barton Road. Two miles, Pirton signpost to right.
From the A1
Exit Junction 8 (Stevenage North) Follow the signposts Hitchin/Luton Airport. Through, Hitchin over the first roundabout, at second roundabout turn left. A few hundred yards Mini roundabout take right fork Barton Road. Two miles, Pirtin signpost right. As above
